Question: Betson/Imperial Trackball Mounting
« on: February 27, 2004, 12:50:19 pm »
Can anyone who has a betson imperial trackball let me know whether you mount the tb with the holes in a diamond pattern or a square pattern? This is of course looking towards the monitor.

There are no diagrams on the Betson site.

Thanks,
Todd

You have to see which way is "up" on the trackball.  Find out that location and mark it on the ball and mount it that way.

Diamond.

Every trackball I have ever seen uses a diamond pattern including my Imperial 3" PS2 trackball.

Look at the lip around the ball.  On the Betson/Imperials thatere is a small triangle indicating which way is "Up".
Real Life.  Still a poor substitute for video games!
