Trackball recommendations
« on: November 19, 2021, 03:33:49 pm »
I've been a quiet part of this forum for over 15 years and ended up selling my cab a few months ago.  Just don't have the room for it in the house or garage anymore.  In its place, I've got a control panel that I keep set up with joystick and buttons.  I'm planning on building a couple more control panels, one for the spinner that I removed and one for a trackball.  I had the Happs trackball in my cab but it has been a long time since I've looked for equipment.  Any suggestions on what route I should go for a stand-alone control panel with a few buttons?   Primary games played with it were Centipede, Missle Command, and Golden Tee.  Thanks for your input.

Happ 3 inch ball
Make sure it has the red boards.

Buttons to your preference, but if you are Missile Command fan like me then volcano buttons in the proper configuration are a must.

Stephen has new repro ones (labelled as start buttons but work fine as play buttons) and they are cheaper than most beat up crap people try to sell on fleabay.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.
