Console box

Got a huge external hard drive with Hyperspin front end with MAME and all the consoles and games up to about the Wii U.
Currently it's in an arcade cabinet, but looking to copy the console part onto another drive and play it on a TV with gamepads.
Aside from using a PC with Windows 10, is there any sort of emulator boxes out there which I can plug my external HDD into and it just access the roms and images from that?
I want to try and avoid setting up a PC, and I don't think the latest Pis have enough grunt to support some of the later consoles like PS2 and Nintendo Wii U.

Buy another Wii U and Mod it.
