GameRoomSolutions coin door install?
« on: July 16, 2021, 11:03:51 am »
Anyone know how to install this sucker properly?  didn't come with instructions, and I can't find any online.

I took a chance and ordered a 32" 4 player from them, and am pleasently surprised with how it turned out, despite all the negative reviews I've read about them.  it's pretty sturdy. and went together easy enough.  only had to drill in a few extra holes because some did not line up....but over all a pretty painless experience.  even ordered art from them with no problem.

Well if they are so great why are you here asking us how to put their product together?  I know what kind of material they build with.  So it's a sturdy piece of junk.

Hold up... don't they charge several thousand dollars for their cabinets?  And not all the holes line up???  How low is the bar here?

Without ever looking at anything or knowing what a "GameRoomSolutions coin door" is, I'm going to say you just need to cut out a hole and pop it in since that is how every coin door I've ever seen works.  Hold it in place with clips or screws or whatever you are supposed to be based on the type of door.  Post some pics and people can help out.

I just can't believe commercial vendors ignore questions and provide cabinets that do not go together perfectly.  For that type of money I would expect a perfect cabinet out of the box but that's just me...

Every Gameroom Solutions post is the same.

"I ignored all of the bad reviews."

"I am happy with my purchase."

"Nothing lines up right."

duh.

yeah... from what I understand they also angle P3 and P4 sticks on their 4P cabinets and I've seen people say "it's fine you get used to it".  I guess if you spend that much you need to convince yourself it was worth it.

Not my thing but to each their own I guess.  :dunno

I get mad every time I see their name mentioned.  I try to forget I blew $700 on a control panel from them not to mention the shadyness of how my order got "lost" after I had paid and I had to prove I had already paid for something I never received and then didn't get the trackball I paid extra for.  I forget about it then someone posts and it stings again and I can't keep quiet...lol.
