Help with buttons on old Ultimarc Ultrastik
« on: June 11, 2021, 11:43:39 am »
Trying to resurrect a 13 year old Win 7 MAME system I built using two Ultimarc Ultrastik.
Joysticks on each work fine, but none of the 8 buttons work on either.
Using UltraMap (admin and non-admin), I am getting: Driver install Failed. No UltraSticks detected.
Maybe something was broken by an OS update or one of the kids did something or maybe both sticks really failed in the same way.
Looking at the Ultimarc website, there doesn't even seem to be a driver download. Just the UltraMap application. I'm guessing because it registers as a mouse and keyboard?
Any help on where to begin would be appreciated.
