LED Blinky - Help with LaunchBox integration
« on: March 18, 2021, 09:09:15 pm »
Hi guys,

I recently migrated to LaunchBox and I'd like to get LED Blinky up and running with it. However, I'm having some troubles getting all/the correct LEDs to fire in MAME (or any other emulator).

One handy thing about LaunchBox is it shows you prior to firing MAME up what controls will be illuminated. Some games seem to only want to half illuminate my joysticks (which I believe is considered "black" as a color), and most games don't have the 2nd player joystick lit up at all. It's very confusing, because when I check in the "colors" file, I have the data there to drive the LEDs for both player 1 and 2.

It seems as though LED Blinky is using some information from the colors.ini file, but not all.

Anyways, I'm not sure where to go from here - I've also tried using RocketBlinky to get things going, and haven't had any luck with that either. I could post a debug report here, but I'm not sure what good it would do as it's only giving the error for:

Anyone have any ideas? Or run into this before?
