Pacdrive and LedBlinky Question
« on: January 31, 2021, 04:58:53 pm »
Hello all! I'm building a control panel that has two separate Pacdrives installed, each with one unused output for a total of two unused outputs. I could use some help if anyone has the know how for these issuse..

First: I would really like to keep them from lighting at startup. Can this be done? I know you can order units from Andy that already do this, but I did not do that way back when I got these.

Second: I would like to a game specific animation that allows me to activate a relay with these two unused outputs. They should not power on at startup. I would like one to run at the specific games start, the other should run at the specific game's end.

The overall plan.. I have built a highly custom arcade cabinet where the monitor sits in the middle of a 6' diameter Stargate. At the start of vertical games, I would activate the relay to drive a linear actuator one direction to rotate the screen vertically. At the quit of the vertical games, I would activate relay #2 to rotate the screen back to horizontal for front end navigation. I already have the mechanics working. I can do this by buttons. I just want to automate it and think it can be done. Any suggestions?

I See that LEDBlinky can do "Cabinet Animations" with an independent third Pacdrive. If that's what it takes, That's what I'll have to do.

Thanks,
Mike
