Updating 5yr old cab .... Rgb buttons, leaf vs switch, bat tops

I completed this cab in 2015 and cheaped out on the buttons to fit my budget.

I wanted rgb buttons but went with single color cheap buttons and dont like them.
I also went for sanwa jlf sticks with balltops and now want bat tops.

Im building a new pc for the cab so want to freshen up thecontrols...

I need 34 buttons and cant really afford $8.50 x 34 for the ultimarc microswitch rgb buttons but the leafed version is $5.50 per button.
I liked the leaf buttons that were in my original vendetta cab but dont know how the aftermarket ones perform/compare and how they will feel with fighting games which is what I play the most of. Any opinions?

Also i want bat sticks. Since i already have led jlf sticks that i had to put stick extensions and 3# springs on since they are bottom mounted to 3/4" ply .... Im wondering if I should just buy some clear bat tops that will screw onto my jlf's or just order some happs or IL white bat joysticks? Will happs sticks stick up high enough if bottom mounted to 3/4" ply?

Also.... Whats the best option for rgb driver board/boards for 34 rgb buttons ?
Wont each button take up 3 pins on an rgb driver board? Can I daisy chain rgb controllers?
What would be best way to control 34 rgb buttons?

Ive been out of the arcade scene for 5 years so dont know if any new products have came out or any other rgb options that might look good on this cab.
