FFB Force feedback plugin issue
« on: December 31, 2020, 09:01:44 pm »
ftp://Back with one final thread of 2020. I'm trying to set up the FFB plug in to enable forcefeedback in mame with my G920 wheel and I'm not having much luck 🙁. I've followed the on line tutorials and have read up on forums, but can't seem to find a fix. I'm using MameUI64 version 0.226 but also tried the regular 0.226 version and same issue. The FFB ini file seems to be correct. Force feedback on the wheel in the programs test menu works great, however in game, the wheel goes limp. I'm testing on outrun.

Any ideas where I can look next? I have attached my FB log file for reference.

Thanks in advance fellows.

You should post on the 600+ post thread thats like 3 down really man

anyway,

Are you getting ffb effects in GUI in FFB Test?

if yes then its most likely to do with the mame.ini file requiring to enable outputs

if no, then install visual runtime all in one pack etc

My apologies 🙁 I'll look more carefully next time.

I got it to work by changing my Out Runs ini file. OSD output was set to auto even though my ini file was changed to windows. All working now.

Maybe this will help someone else down the road.
