IPAC seems to have stopped working - how can I reset please
« on: October 02, 2020, 08:24:26 pm »
Hi,

Finished my scratch cabinet about a week ago and wired 2 joysticks and 12 buttons into my IPAC 2.

All working fine, I could see characters displayed in notepad and games were working in MAME.

After a week of successful testing  I decide to connect up my volcano buttons but they did not display any characters in notepad. I then installed WInipac to see if that would help.

From that point onwards none of my controls work in mame and nothing is displayed in notepad when I operate the controls.

Please could somebody advise what I have done to cause this because I have run out of ideas now.

Thank you.

I had my light bulb moment shortly after posting.

Thank you for inspiring me guys. :-)

I simply needed to select open in Winipac and load a default configuration to the IPAC in keyboard mode.

I somehow had disabled all the buttons when I first went into Winipac.

On the plus side my volcano buttons are now working as well.
