Microswitch Question weight question Paradise microswitch
« on: September 21, 2020, 10:58:27 pm »
Apologies if this has been posted.
I only found one thread on this but it was pretty old and I'm about a decade behind on different weights on micro switches.

I previously used Happs concave with cherry micro switches.

Looking add getting some PSL concave rgb buttons for my cabinet and saw they and 20g, 50g and 75g cherry.

There are of course no videos online that show the difference, but was curious if there was some sort of comparison of what they might feel/sound like online or if someone could give me a better idea of what the difference is going to be.

I have to 20g switches..  Nice and light to the touch.  I originally got them so they would be the most like leaf switches.   For the most part they are.  The spring in the button is what I feel - not the switch.  A friend that has the heavier switches liked the lighter touch..  So there is an opinion for you.
