Does anyone know how to wire two coin buttons to the X-Arcade Tankstick dual?
Do you want to replace the Coin 1 and Coin 2 "flipper" buttons or wire another button in parallel with both?
Replace:- Check for clearance (not sure if you have room

) and
carefully drill holes on the front.
- Move the ground and input wires from the old microswitch to the new microswitch. (NOTE: IIRC, you'll need to use the same daisy-chain ground since X-Arcade encoders use isolated grounds. Different daisy-chain ground ==> different output)

- Remove the old buttons and replace them with button hole covers.
Wire in parallel:- Check for clearance (not sure if you have room

) and
carefully drill holes on the front.
- Check the current harness, switches usually use 0.187" Quick Disconnects (QDs), but some use 0.250" QDs.
- Make two splitter/extender cables with one male QD and two female QDs for each new button -- one for ground, one for input.
____ QD (F) for the "flipper" microswitch
QD (M) ____|___________________________ QD (F) for the new microswitch

This end plugs into the current wiring harness.
I have two red led coin buttons I would like to add to the front.
https://support.xgaming.com/support/solutions/articles/12000067667-led-buttonsWe don't sell LED buttons, and our PCB can't power LED buttons, so you would need to use your own power source for the LEDs.
Finding 40mA @ 5v (or 12v?) for the LEDs (20 mA each) isn't as neat or easy with the X-Arcade encoder as it would be with an IPac.
- You can get 5v and ground from a hacked USB cable, 5v or 12v and ground from a hacked molex or SATA power cable, use an external power supply,
or make an extension cable for the connector where the USB plugs into the encoder PCB and get 5v and ground from the extension.
- Use 0.250" QDs for the LED "stirrup" tabs.
