Mamewah and screen rotation
« on: February 18, 2004, 04:26:12 pm »
From reviewing the previous posts on this, it looks like Mamewah will support screen rotation if you create a custom layout that is roated (i.e. 480X640 instead of 640X480). My question is, do I also need a utility like Pivot to rotate the Windows display? I don't care if Windows is in the correct orientation or not, as long as Mamewah works (I won't be using Windows once it boots). Using Windows 98SE, Celeron 333Mhz, 128MB RAM, 14" LCD laptop display.

Additionally, if there is a simpler product that will support screen rotation, please offer your opinion. I only need MAME support (single emulator), short list of games (maybe 20-30), control via standard MAME keys (up, down, left, right, 1, 2, CTRL, etc.) and the ability to change the screen background would be nice.

Thanks
