If I knew anything about MameWah my friend  ... I would be there in a heartbeat.

My brain is still fried from learning AdvMAME and AdvMenu , not to mention DOS all in a weekend project.

Sorry  :(

Yea it isn't bad at all... if you take the time to learn it it will pay off in the end also as you don't want to be stuck with a problem that you can't fix later on...   ;)  A really sweet interface, if I only lived in the Tampa area I would take you up on the beer and dinner.   Free food!  ;D

As others have said, it really is not as hard to setup as it first seems.  All frontends require a little bit of reading and searching through some files to find out how to work them.  Be patient and stick with it and I'm sure you'll figure it out.  ;)

If you need help feel free to post your questions over in the Software forum there are plenty of guys in there willing to help - including Mamewah's creator Minwah!

I'd be very suprised if you can't at least get it to run after reading my small tutorial that Talking_Octopus has linked to above.

my problem is I just dont have tons of time...... I work 6-7 days a week 10-16 hrs a day...... I am an independent cab driver which basically means I own my own bussiness so the more I work the more I make..... and right now is the busy season

anyway right now the problem is when I try to run mamewah I get a runtime error "13" type mismatch........and thats it I have gone through the mamewah setup and all but cant get past the initial error

would love to get it work as I just added daphne (and a complete set of roms/dvd images) to my emu collection

Delete the contents of the \mamewah\files folder, and then re-run MAMEWAH.  This will start fresh, enter your 'Emulator Executable' (eg c:\mame\mame.exe), and refresh the list (in 'Games List Options').

Assuming you are using the standard rom location (ie \mame\roms) and snap location (ie \mame\snap) then that is all! :)
