my Logitech Momo Racing does not work
« on: April 27, 2020, 02:08:42 pm »
I am going to correct the subject. what doesn't work on my momo steering wheel is the FF.
let me explain it better.
a few days ago I bought this beautiful momo steering wheel at a very good price. my first steering wheel with forcefedback!
connect it to my pc, then download the drivers from the logitech page and configure everything properly.
I set out to enjoy the 2006 F1. And notice that none of the steering wheel lights were on. then inform me, left light for usb connection and right light for the FF.
After much research, notice that the light on the left is barely on. the steering wheel works correctly and all its buttons are ok. but the FF does not work ... I suspect that the dim light on the steering wheel may be the cause ... someone who can help me?

Hi.
Have you tested the voltage of the Power supply, its  24 V.
Then install Force test.exe.
And check the Force Feedback
Good luck.

The board have and fuse to protect against overvoltages.
But its posible the FFB circuit its damaged with an peak who dont broke the fuse. Then Its probably the Allegro driver ist damaged because works till 5 Volts, then if your peak gives more, will be the trouble.
I have the same trouble, usb detects the wheel but the Driver can inizialize the motor, to make a check or calibration.
So, first test your power supply and if is voltage is upper than 24 V, throw it in the bin. Then replace it with another correct.
Then check every transistor and capacitor of the circuit included the fuse.
Finally if all of those its correct, the trouble perhaps will be into the IC Driver from Allegro, then you must to replace it and check the board. Remember ist smd, soic 16.
Good luck mate.
