Hi all I am just starting my build and was wanting to know which is the best spinner to buy that has a nice weight to it and good build quality.

What are you all using and where did you buy BTW I am in the UK so would like UK suppliers.

Cheers Paul

Check out Ultimarc's SpinTrak.   ;D

3rd vote for a Spintrak here.
I tried it with no weight on it for a few months and it was good.
Added the small spin weight to it recently and now it is excellent.
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

The TT2 is the default choice from a U.S. company and the SpinTrak is the default choice from a UK company.

Both are excellent.   ;D

I've got both and they're both great spinners but prefer the spintrak. Not sure why but it feels just a little better.

I went the Cadillac and bought the Push Pull Turbo Twist from Groovy. I discovered there was a game called Zwackery that uses the push pull, but I really wanted it for Discs of Tron. The knob is really nice and the performance is perfect. I dont think you can go wrong with anything out there though. Let us know what you get!

All thanks for the feedback I have gone for the Ultimarc Spintrac should be here tomorrow.

Really appreciate the feedback. Now onto my flight stick for Tron mini or full size is the question?

Cheers All

I got that spinner for the same reason...and I've never gotten high enough on Discs of Tron to get where you need it.  :)  Oh well.  It is a nice spinner.

I have 2 Turbo Twist 2's. They are amazing. I have the premium aluminum knobs. I got an energy storage cylinder, but I don't use it. It doesn't feel right to me. If I could change anything, I would like to have a larger diameter knob, at least scaled up 150%. Seems like every spinner in the arcades has had a considerably wider diameter spinner and I think it makes playing games like Breakout, Forgotten Worlds, or Puzz Loop a lot easier to control.
