There might be a frogger cabinet, and NBA JAM with online capabilities,
along with a sega cabinet:

https://www.ign.com/articles/2020/01/06/arcade1up-introduces-online-enabled-nba-jam-cabinet-burger-time-special-edition-and-more

The NBA Jam cabinet features online functionality "allowing users to play with other Arcade1Up cabinets in drop-in style games" in North America and features NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hang Time.

Also unveiled are a sit-down style Star Wars cabinet, a new Frogger cabinet and a SEGA Golden Axe cabinet featuring five games: Golden Axe, Shinobi, Altered Beast, Wrestle Wars, and Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder.

We'll see! I'm kind of excited to see what they do. If there ever was a chance I'd have a vpinball cabinet (doubt it), this is it!

Just watched a video of a walk through. Some good, exciting stuff going on in the world of retro gaming. These things are getting better and better. Shame some folks are missing this.

Serious question: why don't they make these things with the base?  I mean without the base but as tall as it would be with the base.  Seems like it would be much more appealing especially since all of the promotional materials include the base...

The license for them doesn’t allow them to be higher than they are now.

Yeah. That sounds right. Less than 48” is a toy? That’s why these come in at 46-47 inches.

Yeah, they’ve come out and said as much because people asked about the sizes and making bigger versions.

That cab looks like dog ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.

It is screaming for a sledgehammer.

And also, if the side panels were any longer, the box wouldn't fit in the back seat of a car (as it is it does--barely).  I would place a reasonable amount of money that was a design constraint levied on them by the B&M retailers.

I would think a large motivator to make them the size they are in the first place is cost, it is considerably cheaper to have graphics printed that are no larger than 48". Not only because it is cheaper to print smaller sizes but there is far less waste. Also the cost of shipping something that is 4' or smaller is cheaper... etc etc.
