PC Speaker Volume Control - Which Potentiometer?
« on: February 14, 2004, 09:28:35 pm »

Here's a site that has a volume control for $$$.

I'd like to do it myself and was wondering which pot I should buy.

Any advice is appreciated.

You need an audio taper pot.
I'd go with a 100K.

I was looking for something like this a few weeks back.  Oscar pointed me to his website, and I followed his instructions.  I am very happy.

It aint too hard, and sure beats the $40 for that control that you mentioned!!

Have fun,
