Who can help me move a game? Southern New England
« on: February 13, 2004, 12:49:28 pm »
Looking for help moving a game.  The game is located in East Greenwich, RI.  The guy I am buying it from seems completely unwilling to move it.  Says it took "four football players" to get it where it is now.

I say when the monitor, glass and CP are removed it will be like moving an empty box, but this guy won't budge.

I'd like to do this tomorrow.  I'll spring for lunch.  Any takers?

Edit: Picture.

Yeah, that's what I've been getting all the way around.  Thanks for offering, though!

One guy had prior obligations, one moved (suprise!), one is sick, I can't get ahold of another at work or home (he's @ neither), my dad is out of the question (medical problems).  I could ask my wife, but, well...

LOL @ Stingray!

Yeah, we're not that far apart, Sephroth57.  I'm in Vermont.

What kind of game is it?  Some kind of driving game?

Most of those big games come appart in little pieces.

You need to get a dolly if you are moving something like that.
I wouldn't take monitors and stuff like that out if I were you.  You can wreck them by loading them wrong.

It's a Super High Impact.  Four player CP.  Taking the monitor out shouldn't be an issue, they just bolt right out.

Well, it's sitting in my foyer right now, thanks to the efforts of Chris, a guy I used to work with, and Adam, a fellow BYOACr.

It was originally a 'Main Event' cabinet.  It's friggin' huge!  I can't wait to MAME it.
