Ipac2 150a firmware

Any one play with the new 150a firmware? It allows you to configure the ipac2 as a dinput or xinput controllers. It's pretty sweet so far. I am running into a little issue though. I am trying to use mode 4 to use dinput but configure input 1a and 1b to be mouse buttons but it will only work in mode 1 even though the firmware guide says it should work in mode 4. Has anyone else tried this? Is there a little trick to get it going or something?
