Plasma TVs and other Flat Panels

Has anyone used a plasma (42") screen or other large flat panel screen for their ROM game cabinets?  If so, did you have to do anything special to get it to function properly?

I've hooked up my 57" widescreen, which should be similar.
I just use the S-Video out on my video card to hook it up, and it works like a charm.

My DVD player hooks up via S-video, so I just grab the cable from the back of it, and plug it into the computer.
When the computer fires up, the driver software detects the TV, and sets itself accordingly.

I really don't like playing on the bigscreen though because you can't see the whole playing field at a glance, like you can in a cabinet.
You have to move your eyes to see everything, which slows your reaction times.

More importantly burn-in. Plasma tv's are even more succeptable to burn-in than traditional arcade monitors.  If a pixel is in the same place for more than 5 minutes you WILL get burn in.  

Now lcd tv's are a much better choice, but then again they are much more expensive atm.
