rowe carousel question
« on: May 12, 2019, 07:53:12 am »
I have the whole Rowe R-90 carousel assembly out of the jukebox and setting on a bench with a full load of records.
I want to remove all the records, how do I rotate the carousel without power and not damage anything?
I don't have access to the rest of the jukebox at this time.

Push in and hold the plunger of the Sprag Solenoid. This will release the magazine motor and allow you to physically rotate the magazine.

Thanks Ken,

I pushed in the solenoid and could see the sprag wheel disengaging but the carousel still doesn't rotate. It feels like something else is locking it in place.
Does the carousel belt have to be removed?

Hello Stingman,

Is the gripper bow in a state of transfer? or has a record in the basket jamed up the mechanism?

Regards
Alan
