got my roms list fixed

I have been trying to build my own image for ES.
I started with a pre existing image. All vertical. scrapping became a real issue.
I gave up on reinventing the wheel  and went back to downloaded image. ( attract mode image)
download winshp, and note pad ++. found rom list in hidden directory . opened with note pad ++.
PC with note pad ++ on my left. Pie attract mode on my right. I scrolled through all 800+ games and the ones that did not fit for my cab got a # mark at the beginning of each rom and also a space. roms that are marked with a hash tag do not get displayed.
saved .txt to the pie.

My point was telling how it was done.
I asked many questions and no answers.
Here is how I did it
No body here could just tell me where to find ROM list or how to edit.
I was told to give up on attract mode and do emulation station.
Well.... That became a nightmare and wasted 2 weekend's.
I found a you tube video that 1/2 way explained my original question.
The end product is what I wanted weeks ago.
If any one ask or has the same problem . I am now informed on how to help

What was your attractmode question? You havent posted any recent topic posted about attract here.? Was it on the attract forum?

It was my fault... It was sent to post hell.
I mentioned the image name and offered to mail image to anyone that would help.
The question was how to edit ROM list and delete games.
My way turns out ROMs are still there but not listed.
Still works for me.

The answer to your question regarding attractmode is super easy and can do it two different ways. Too late now.
