It's from 1980- It's a shooting game and it is similar to galaga
BTW- from the looks of it it it looks like all the right parts are there the only thing changed is the marquee name

That cab does look GROOOOOVY, if i do say so myself.  It kinda has its own style going on. Can't say i have ever really seen one quite like that. Kewl! :)

It is similar to Galaga but more like Galaxian, Galaga's predecessor.

Well,i had to try it on mame and of course the sound doesnt work lol.
I tried playing it for a bit,but i just couldn't get into it.  Hard to top galaga.lol

I have found that a lot of those early space games (especially Universal ones), require a good 10 or 20 plays before you can really start getting into them. They usually really get a lot better once you have the shot timing down.

This cabinet is for sale on a dutch website. The owner pretends to know nothing about it or even if it works but on the picture I see some shapes that look like other cabinets...
I am also worried about the Kong jr marquee and our basement is overflowing with machines as it is now.

It would have been a nice project when the cosmic alien pcb was still in it!
