Here is another layout I've put together for Attract-Mode...

A quick video of how it looks... (note,  favorites functionality shown (the star) is still not released yet... soon.)

A bug has been found in SDAMax II and has been squashed.  I've also added controller type and button number options.  More info can be found on SDAMax III blog post found HERE...

I need to start educating myself on this stuff. Your website looks like a good place to start. I am fixing up a Konami 4 player cab that somebody butchered. I plan on running a multi JAMMA board.  I only have WW Cowboys of Moo Mesa right now. A MAME rig with Attract-Mode looks like a good idea for my cab. I have a MAME cab up and running right now. It is a 4 way vertical CRT cab. The rest of my machines are all dedicated cabs.

An "easy" path to consider is an ARpiCADE w/4-player add-on.  It's designed to drop right in to 4-Player cabinets.  Very easy to get going.  www.highscoresaves.com sells them... you can check out more info on the ARpiCADE at www.arpicade.com ...

Setting up 4-player only (or 3 and 4 player) ROMlists is very simple using the machine available at http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/ ... there is a tutorial on my blog.

If you have any questions,  feel free to ask.

Thank you for the guidance.

The 4 player cab I liberated from a trash heap probably should have stayed there. I think the crappy paint job is the only thing holding the sides together. I am in the process of figuring out how much of the original cab is salvageable. I stripped the paint back in a couple of places and this cab has no side art hiding underneath. There are no tags or stamps on it.
