  • Game on!!!
So... This past Christmas I got a good deal on a X Arcade tankstick (yes I know I should have just made one myself, etc) Anyways... Overall, I actually DO like the tankstick, and am planning on using it for the main control panel for my build (with a 3 and 4 players using the zero delay encoders). I also plan on hooking up my OG Xbox, 360, and Switch up to the cab/tankstick (being able to hook newer systems up to it is pretty cool imo). I dont want to be messing with wires and all that though, I want everything to be pretty "clean."

X Arcade makes this https://shop.xgaming.com/collections/adapters/products/x-arcade-switch-box-change-between-4-systems-includes-3-game-console-cables-1

Which I am interested in this box, it seems like a good solution. My only issue is, will it introduce lag? So has ANYONE here have experience with this device, if so tell me the good, the bad and ugly. I haven't been able to find ANY information on this device anywhere.

I have, I am using a xbox 360 and PC along with my TankStick. The box is bulky and ugly but does the trick.

Note that mine didn't like quick switching, I would need to shut everything down, switch, then boot up what ever I was playing. Not a big deal for me though.

Cheaper on amazon with more options. Search Data Switch box. Just make sure its a 9 pin? I think.

I also have the controller adapters if you need. I dont use the Xbox anymore so the parts are just sitting around.
Ill double check when I get home

Thanks for the info👍

No problem with lag then? That was my biggest issue. Some people on this forum think I'm crazy, but I kinds want my machine to be able to do EVERYTHING I need.

I have them all.  Best to get the psx adapter as it central to all the modern interfaces for consoles.  Or you could get a cronus pro and use that.  Cheaper.

You really like X Arcades stuff huh? I'm actually pretty happy with my tankstick as well, that's why I want to get all the cables/adapters and the switch box. Although I do think I'm gonna switch out the sticks and buttons in the tankstick. It really serves two purposes, for one I want to see how better sticks perform, and two I want to buy a player 3 and 4 set up for my MAME regardless. But I would rather have player 1 and two (tankstick controls) have the better parts than player 3 and 4 (which wont get used as often). I'm ok that players 3 and 4 wont hook to the xbox and what not, they will just be for MAME and what not.

I have interfaced all the consoles in my collection including the cdi, and the xbox one.  Get an electronic switchbox than a manual to prevent static discharge.
