4" speakers
« on: February 09, 2004, 02:13:01 pm »
Hey,

I have some 4" speakers, but i cant cut the holes out for them ( im crap at it... ) I have saw some peoples arcades and they have just cut out a pattern of holes, i was wondering if anyone has some kind of layout i can print out and drill the holes, ive tried to do it myself but it always ends out looking crappy.

Thanks,
Nightmare

Try this,

You can put grills over the speakers to clean up the mess of a badly cut hole.  That is what happened here for me.

You can get these at partexpress.com, but as I recall you are in the UK, right Nightmare?  I'm sure you have something similiar across the pond.

And I lost a long explaination about why those speakers are at the bottom of the cab when I tried to post.  Don't try that at home kids, it just doesn't sound good (my cabinet doubles as an mp3 player as well).
