I want to know before purchasing if the U-HID Nano board from Ultimarc will work with Happ's Duel Pedals like these on EBay:
Yes, the
U-HID can be configured to accept a variety of digital (microswitch), optical (spinner/trackball), and analog (potentiometer) inputs.
Before you purchase the U-HID Nano, add up the number of inputs/pins you need -- there's a good chance you'll need a second encoder.
For example, the dual-pedal set you linked to would need four pins . . .
- 5v
- Ground
- Gas pot wiper
- Brake pot wiper
. . . and adding a 360 degree steering wheel requires two more pins. . .
- Data line A
- Data line B
(Use the same pins for 5v and Ground that you used for the pots)
. . . plus a Coin button, a Start button, Exit button, and a sequential up/down shifter needs five more pins.
- Coin
- Start
- Exit
- Up shift
- Down shift
(Use the same pin for Ground that you used for the pots)
For that setup you need 11 pins, but the U-HID Nano only has 9.
