Anyone using TaitoType X with dual monitors?
« on: December 21, 2018, 12:09:43 am »
My cab is set up with two monitors, one main and one for Marquees. I use Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher, along with HyperMarquee. I have tried to use TTX with TypexLoader and GameLoader All RH 317, but the issues are:

TypexLoader causes the second screen to shift as the game takes over my monitor (SSFIVAE or GigaWing(rotating screen))

GameLoader All RH doesnt like multiple monitors.

Does anyone out there use a similar setup in thier cab, and if so, are you able to get a clean look with TTX running? I appreciate any info you can provide. Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

I figured it out,and it’s a pretty simple solution should anyone experience it.

In Windows I have my dual monitors set up 1 as primary, 2 as marquee, the 2nd screen sits to the right of the first on the settings.

All i did was drag monitor 2 to the left of monitor 1, having my desktop extended to the left instead of the right. Be sure to change your coordinates in HyperMarquee vial the XML so it knows where to start the window.

Now it works with TTX whenever it shifts or rotated without disturbing the Marquee.

Hope it helps!
