Also received my Tripath amplifier and two very skinny speakers from Parts Express. These will go below the monitor.

Normally I’m not a fan of wall-mounted cabs, but you’ve planned it out the right way. This one will work out. Kudos to you.

I appreciate that. I'm not normally a fan either, but I wanted to give this design a go. Usually they look quite weird like a bartop glued to the wall.

On PL1's recommendation, I've extended the play surface 2 inches so there will ample space for trackball play.

I like it. I tried a wall mount a while ago but could never trust my daughter not to practice pull ups on it.

Looks like you've gone for a flat marquee against the wall. You could try some el tape behind some perspex and have some graphics on there if u wanted.
