Speaker selection for my cab?
« on: February 06, 2004, 03:19:11 pm »
From reading some older post I'm thinking of going with the CREATIVE LAB INSPIRE T2900 2SPK SUBWOOFER package for my cabinet. With an external cable for volume control, this seems the easiest way to hook up speakers in a cabinet without alot of hacking. Has anyone used this product or a similar one and has some pros and cons? By the way the package is only 45 bucks which seems like a good deal but it's only 29 watts total.

Thats what I have.  The external volume control is great wait to modulate the volume in the middle of the game play.

Cool, how long would you say the control cable is? And do you think the volume is sufficent. And while I'am at it was mounting the speakers difficult na dwhat did you use for speaker grills? Any photos?

id recommend going with larger speakers. its only a little more money and it makes a big difference. here are a couple links to good speaker sets. my next cab will probably have the klipsch pro media 2.1 set.
