Why not go back to the forum list when I click "Mark Topics"?  I'm obviously done reading that forum.  And everyone else is too, so I have to be right.  ::)

umm thats pretty much built in, if you read or reply to something the "new" icon goes away until someone else replies that you havent read. it works well for me
