Im no t sure if this is the community to ask this, but has anyone made their own touchscreen or know a place that gives you step thru to make one???

I don't think you can make one.  It has to be made that way to begin with.  Do you mean incorperate one into a cab?

The easiest way is to just add on to an existing CRT or LCD

or, you can buy kits that allow you to crack open a monitor and make them more of a permanent install (more expensive though)

Edmark also makes a touchscreen adapter called the touchwindow. I've got one left over from using an older powermac as a jukebox. I thought it worked very well, but I had a lot of trouble finding software that was well suited to touchscreen use at the time. A friend had a more pressing need for a computer so the jukebox was dismantled.

If anybody's interested in a mac ADB touchscreen adapter, let me know :)

btw, I was hoping to pick up one a while ago (when I thought I had money... and hoped to get a mp3 player with touchscreen in my house).

well, on ebay there where TONS of deals... but shipping monitors is expensive.
