Ultimarc ServoStik Bat Top/Oval Top options
« on: July 26, 2018, 02:43:21 am »
Hello-

I'm working on my control panel layout and I've picked out some Seimitsu buttons in red and yellow. I'd really like to match the joystick bat top with the same color. Does anyone know if you can buy bat tops/oval tops for Ultimarc ServoStiks that are not from Ultimarc? Currently they only offer red and black. Is there any adapter that will allow me to use Seimitsu or Sanwa compatible Bat Tops? I looked around, but couldn't find the spec on how the ServoStiks are threaded.

Thank you!

Ken

I've never used the aluminum ones, so no idea if they feel weird because they are aluminum.
I've used the black ones.  They are a bit smaller than Happ bat tops, but feel similar in the hand.

If you're not absolutely set on bat tops, Hand Candy seamless ball tops are my all time favorite.

Those ones will work with the ServoStik? I read this: "Available in red only but note all the accessories for our Ultrastik 360 (ball tops, restrictors, long handles) will fit these sticks. Note these are not the same as the standard Sanwa stick as ours have 4-8 way switching without the use of tools." from the website and assumed it meant that only their sticks will work.

I've never owned servostiks, so can't guarantee anything.

It looks like ultimarc sells separate shafts for ball and bat tops.  I'd assume the one for bat tops has larger threads and won't work.
I'd assume the balltop one uses standard sanwa threads which would work with the tops I linked to, but contact Ultimarc beforehand to confirm.

Hopefully someone with servostiks will comment.
