Just noticed CC has Logitech marble mice for $20...has anyone tried messing with these for a cab trackball?
Now witness the power of this FULLY OPERATIONAL Mame machine!

pc mice have a bunch of problems.  Spin backs (spin too fast... and it acts like its moving backwards).  Wrong weight and feel.   No spin time (arcade trackballs you spin and let go... and they continue)

They are designed for different apps.

I would think getting a $26 2 1/4" from Andy is a better solution... With prehacked controller from Oscar and your talking 36 bucks for a real one... (but then if you aren't going lexan... you will need another 8-12 mounting plate.  These are the size of the older centepede trackballs.

I would personally NOT have a pc trackball and leave space for when you can afford one then hack a PC trackball.  But thats me... I tried the crystal one that many people around here tried ages ago... but it wasn't worth the time it took to find the drivers.
