Plotting your own artwork?
« on: February 05, 2004, 08:39:49 am »
At my university - the major comp labs have plotters, at $2 a square foot for heavy art -

And staples has vinyl paper for a "decent" price.

Now, my question is, should I spend the cash for the art? Will this plotter/paper combo produce nice results? At 40 feet, thats around 6 pieces of side art. I only have one cab to do currently, though. I could distribute the cost, by printing for others.

Looks like you'd have to purchase the compatible ink to go with your paper.  Not sure, but that's what I gathered anyway.
