Mine was a 2001, and I got it up around 130,000 before the leaks started. Prior to that, the computer system went to ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- and had to be replaced ($1,300 and it took them a month to figure it out). I'm still not completely sure if that was the problem or not... it was still backfiring at 2,500RPM when I left the shop... brought it back on Monday morning and it was fine that afternoon. Maybe it was just a cracked spark plug the whole time.
---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- happens, it went another few years trouble free.
Anyway, sprayed the underside with choke cleaner to get all the oil, transmission, and coolant off the engine. Then took it to a car wash and power washed the entire undercarriage to make it look like an overzealous pre-sale cleaning. Idled it for an hour, took it to CarMax on a cold day, they gave it a 3 minute inspection, and drove as fast as I could to my bank with their cashier's check.
