Has anyone used Blum CLIP hinges?

As stuff is arriving in the mail I think I have decided to switch from a UA1 based design to LuSiDs.  One thing I definately wanted was the option of a removable CP (and I liked the hinged CP a lot of people use around here - seems like it would be easy to work on etc).

While looking around for options I found these CLIP hinges.  They are concealed cabinet hinges that clip onto the mounting plate (which are available separately).

It looks like they just have a spring loaded latch for releasing it so they might be ideal.  

Has anyone used these before?  Is there something I'm missing?

I'm using similar Salice hinges for cabinet's front door:


For the control panel, though, I just used a piano hinge

because I wanted it to lift up on the side, and the top of the control panel sticks out beyond the box a bit.

I didn't even think about using them for the front panel door - thats a good idea and could come in handy.  Are they easy to remove?

I have hinges like this on my kitchen cabinets and they work great there.  I'm sure they'd work just fine in a cabinet as well (after all it is a "cabinet" too).

They'd work OK, you need a fair bit of depth inside your box for the arm and some extra room to get your finger behind the arm to unclip the hinge from the plate (maybe 3 1/2" total bare minimum). They generally only open 107
