Help with scart tv calibration
« on: August 06, 2017, 07:16:02 am »
Hi
I picked up a grundig 28" scart tv (cuc2030) but it turned to have a very strong red tinted greys.

I could not find any pots on the neckboard and the service menu has only white balance option.

Anyone knows if this is fixable or its just the tube has worn out?

Colour channel failure. green, blue or both (not red). Double check external wiring 1st. Well, it is a possibility, according to my experience

Dump it.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

28" CUC 2030 is a solid performer. Worth persevering.
