  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hello,

I bought all of my arcade controls from Ultimarc. The relevant components are:
* Ultimate I/O board (firmware version 1.34)
* U-MOUNT FlushMount Arcade Trackball
* Mag-Stik Plus joystick
* Goldleaf Pushbuttons

The relevant software running on Windows 10 is:
* WinIPAC V2
* FirmwareUpdater

I attempted to update the firmware through my Windows 10 computer and it appears like it was successful.

When I open WinIPAC V2, every time it appears to use default values. The TRACKBALL values (X1, X2, Y1, and Y2) are always listed as Disabled when I start the software. I have opened the WinIPAC V2 software regularly and using Run as Administrator and receive the same symptoms.

Board FW Version = 1.34
Gamepad Enabled = YES
Board attached: uio

Issue 1: Every time that I launch the WinIPAC V2 software, the TRACKBALL values (X1, X2, Y1, and Y2) are always Disabled. However, some of the PLAYER3 values are yellow. RT and LF are set as Trackball/Spinner and on the X radio button. UP and DN are set as Trackball/Spinner and on the Y radio button.

Issue 2: I set TR, UP, LF, and DN to Disabled as soon as I launch WinIPAC V2. Then I attempt to set X1 to the Trackball/Spinner radio button, it automatically sets PLAYER3 RT and LF to the same values. Also, when I set Y1 to the Trackball/Spinner radio button, it automatically sets PLAYER3 UP and DN to the same values.

As a note, in the bottom status, "Board attached: uio" is always displayed. And, when I change a value, I see "Configuring Board" for a few seconds, then "Board Successfully Reconfigured". Everything appears to be working, but the settings never actually appear to be saved.

Has anyone else had any issues where making changes in WinIPAC V2 do not apply?

Thank you very much in advance for any suggestions or help that you can provide!
