Need help identifying a cocktail cab
« on: May 28, 2017, 11:10:13 am »
Hey folks
I might be able to buy this cocktail cab, but from the pic I can't really tell what it is. Any guesses?
Thanks!

Turns out it is a pacman cocktail cabinet, but the one grandson wants to keep it now. Oh well. At least I figured out what it is.

That isn't Pac-Man.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

That isn't Pac-Man.

See, that's what I thought too.  She told me it was pacman on the phone, and I never went to look at it as she said her grandson wanted it anyway.  So I never really researched more to see if it was in fact pacman or not.
Do you have any guesses as to what it might be? I know we can't see the artwork, but thought maybe the control panel, style of feet, etc might give it away to someone more knowledgeable than me.

Definitely Japanese import and not the more sought after American style cocktail cabinets. It might have Pac-Man in it, but it isn't Pac-Man.

Looks like a Donkey Kong.
+ 1

The buttons look like Nintendo's Popeye.  Also the Nintendo cabs had the joystick on the side.  I always hated that about them.  :-)

Nintendo or even more worthless Taito cocktail.  Toss a match on them all.
