Looking for CP layout suggestions - new picture
« on: January 26, 2004, 11:18:21 am »
I've been reading the message boards for a few months and couldn't resist and started to build my cabinet this weekend.  But before I drill any holes in my cabinet, I'm looking for suggestions on how to layout the controls.

I have:
2 8-way Happs competition joysticks
1 4-way pac-man/galaga joystick
golden tee trackball
and 7 buttons for each player.

Below is a picture with the templates tapped to the control panel.

I think I've already decided that I should move the trackball down some, I'll post a new picture when I'm home after work.  Where's the best place for the 4-way joystick?

Edit:  I moved the trackball down a few inches and moved the 4-way so that my forearm can rest between the player 1 buttons and the trackball and for the buttons, I can rest my right forearm between the trackball and player 2 joystick.  Anything you guys would do differently?
