What is this worth

I am curious as to what i would be able to get for this system. im thinking in the 800 range but am not sure.

The arcade has 2 players both with ten buttons each, 24 inch screen, sound bar, 24 systems on it, and close to 10,000 games.

If you have questions or a general idea as to what its worth please let me know.

That build could be done for under $300.   The buttons and sticks are a $65 chinese set bought off of Amazon, a 24" monitor can be had for $75 on CL, raspberry pi goes for $60, and the box itself is made out of $50 worth of melamine.  The games are free.  The box has no artwork and no marquee.  Pretty basic build (which is fine for someone who just wants to play games). If you are asking what price you could gouge someone who is not familiar with the hobby then you are asking on the wrong forum.

OK i guess i wasn't being clear when i originally posted my question. I'm not asking what it could be built for (which is more than 300 by the way). I'm asking what would be a fair consumer price if i was to sell to someone who doesn't want to build it, and wants to pay for it completed at a fair price. ( The price i'm asking for help establishing )

Its made from high density fiberboard very sturdy very well built.

So I guess my question is what is a fair price to ask for something like this to someone who deoesnt want to build it.(im not trying to gouge somebody)

any advice or feedback at all will be helpful.

Sounds like you can answer your question without our help.  Add up the cost of the build, plus a markup for your time/labor and arrive at a fair price.  If it had a sweet artwork package (sides, CP and marquee) and better controls I could see $800 being close to fair.  As is - a reasonable price may be $500-600. 

That being said, most folks have no concept of what it costs to build a bartop.  We do.  So folks on this forum are not likely to pay a markup for something they can build themselves.  Could you get $800 out in the wild?  Possibly.  Is it truly worth $800?  Not in my opinion...

Honestly, it's worth what you can get for it. Ask for $800 and see what you can get.

All depends on who you talk to.

I managed to get 1500$ out of a 2 player bartop I made once.

But for maximum funds definitely stay away from selling here.

Yots is right. Anything is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I see crummy 60 in 1 bartops selling for 900 on ebay often. If you slap some generic art from a beloved game on there you can probably get over 500 for it locally. But us guys in the hobby usually know what we are buying. So best bet is to sell it to some guy thst knows nothing about it, other than "oh i remember that game" for maximum profit. In most cases cost to build plus time doesn't eaqual to what its really worth.

Add a video splitter with an HDMI cable to hook up to TV. People can set it on their coffee table. Oh, what's it worth? $500 it's a little better than the best consoles besides the fact that there's way too many buttons.

Problem with this type of sale is you can expect to spend several additional hours supporting after the sale - as they always find ways to mess up the mame install (which is why most build using the 60in1s when selling !!) So be sure to let them know what you are and are not willing to assist with after purchase and what the support will cost them after what time period rather than them expecting you to drop everything and assist with any problems !
