Need help identifying joystick
« on: March 21, 2017, 09:19:38 pm »
This appears to be a generic joystick at my sister's house in a 60-1 cab she recently purchased. But she really only wants to play the 4-way games. I told her I'd send her a link to a different joystick that I could install when I get there on vacation.

But looking at the pictures, I wonder: is there possibly a restrictor plate in there?

Any direction is appreciated.

That actually looks like the 8-way version of the Namco reunion stick, just need to replace it with the 4-way version.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Looks like a modified Happ Super joystick.  It's hard to tell in the pics, but check to see if it has two holes underneath.  If so, you can get this restrictor that screws into it.  It works on my Super joystick.

Thanks for the input, but since i already gave her the link, i'll just have her order that one.  The measurements are the same and her CP is metal, so it'll work. PLUS, for my services, i will become the new owner of a NAMCO 8-way joystick.  ;D
