Wherever you mount your i-pac just make sure its not too close to a flourecent light fixture. It WILL cause interference. A while back I mounted a small flourecent light under my track ball to illuminate it. My i-pac was mounted inside my control panel not far from the trackball. I immediately started getting random key presses and controls locking up. As soon as I replaced the flourecent fixture with a couple incandecent mini lamps the problem went away. Just to confirm my diagnoses I loaded up a game. Then I turned on the flourecent light and moved it towards the i-pac. As soon as it got within a few inches of the i-pac I started hearing that beeping that you hear when you hit keys on a keyboard that is locked up. Then when I moved the light away the beeping stopped. If you do mount a flourecent fixture near your i-pac I would either inclose the i-pac or put some kind of divider between the two and that should block the interference. I posted this a while back but I figured I would bring it up again since there's quite a few new members around lately. Just trying to spare people some unneeded headaches.

Thats sounds quite odd. I would email andy and see if there is a reason for the interference. I could see it messing with a monitor, but not a i-pac. Then again i am no electronics engineer, so who knows lol.
