I want to build my own arcade controls!
GGG Roundhouse joystick question.

I have two of these roundhouse arcade sticks that I was going to use on my control panel. One main question. Does this top come off so I can undermount the joystick? I can't seem to loosen it at all. Thought I would ask before I broke it. I noticed GGG didn't have a color option with this particular joystick. Looks like the only way is to disassemble the 4 phillip screws in the base of the joystick and then try to put it back together very tediously. If that doesn't' work out is the spitfire a good comparable joystick?

Kind of embarrassed, there was a nut on the bottom that released the joystick to allow undermouting, however try as I might, this balltop will not come off. Was wanting a different color, but red will have to do I suppose..

You can always upgrade to a Sanwa JLF. The ball top screws off and there are a TON of options.
