Slightly OT? Small replacement megatouch MB?
« on: February 11, 2017, 05:38:07 pm »
I have an old megatouch force that had a bad CRT.  I found a great 17" touchscreen LCD monitor that works perfectly with it.  As such, I decased the mobo and security/IO board and put them in an older slim CPU case, but it still takes up a lot of room..

God knows back in the day they probably didn't exist so it might be a longshot, but any ideas for getting it to work on a low profile MB, like a Micro ATX/ITX?  I know there are plenty of motherboards compatible with it.. i believe it needs to be a socket 370 motherboard and i810.

I'm sure it's a stretch, but any suggestions?

not much is compatible with force actually. they only used a very small handful of boards and blacklisted through software anything that was similar that might have worked.

at this point in time an exact replacement is all you can do. some people around here might be working on fixing the software to work with new hardware, but until such time as I can get ahold of someone at Megatouch LLC. and get a release from them... nothing about it can be posted here.

on the up side, Work has begun on modifying the older maxx software. I've deemed it old enough to have been abandoned and that info CAN be posted here.
