Any way to turn on cocktail mode by default in MAME?
« on: February 09, 2017, 06:43:56 pm »
I built a cocktail cabinet and know how to set the dip switches on games that support the screen flipping manually.  I'd rather not do this for the 100 or so games that support cocktail made.  Is there any way to turn this on by default system-wide?   Maybe a MAME command line argument...

I had to do the same thing. Since it's a Dip Switch that usually sets the game to cocktail mode, you will have to do it manually. Most games use a different dip switch for this setting so it can't be automated.

Not the answer I was hoping for but I was afraid that was the answer.  Thank you for the response.
