Illustrator vs PAINT.NET for vector image cut and paste
« on: January 19, 2017, 10:36:57 am »

Here is a link to a guy that shows you how to cut out art work to combine them all using PAINT.NET.  :)

Is this guy's videos below covering the "vectorization" factor???   :dizzy:

Here is Frostillicus's Vector Tutorial where he describes how to use Illustrator to "cut out" images but instructions are for Vector usage (ie you can enlarge them without
losing the sharpness/resolution of each image).

Which tutorial is better for what I want to do?  (I want to create a "collage" of vector images)

No, I don't have any vector files yet.

Do you know of any links to any vectorized arcade characters?

I am Googling now where I can download vectorized arcade "characters"
otherwise I will have to practice and learn how to vectorize characters and remove the surrounding areas outside the characters (character images from jpg or PDF images.)

I still have the arcade art library version from like...2007. I can look and see if I have anything you need.
