mini rgb buttons?
« on: January 02, 2017, 09:43:35 am »
I am having trouble finding small rgb buttons to use for config buttons on my control panel. Best case scenario would be the old Atari cone buttons, but w/ rgb led's. If I could even find them, they are way too pricy to have to go and tear them apart and mod them and scratch build new clear inserts. Is there anything close to this, or even just small scale buttons that anyone has seen out there?

Try living without the admin buttons. Use a wireless keyboard when you have to adjust settings. They cause a lot of problems you don't anticipate. Especially if a bunch of people are going to play your machine. I have 0 admin buttons. Pressing P1 and P2 exits the current game back to the menu. I still get people booting out into windows sometimes. If you feel you really need them then try to hide them.

That being said, there are tons of small push buttons that would work well for admin buttons. I tried a google search "small push buttons". A lot of results came up.

Please don't butcher Atari cone buttons. They're hard enough to find as it is.

You don't need config buttons.
